Curt's Global Business Brigades Panama Blog

Over Spring Break 2009 a small group of 15 committed volunteers with the Global Business Brigades (GBB), from Northwestern University, traveled to the
country of Panama, for an initial review of a small rural community called Puerto Lara, five hours from Panama City. This community needs our assistance to further their tourism efforts and gain financial stability for their children. We will assess the situation with a whirlwind visit to Panama, and then return in August, 2009 with an action plan.

In August 2009, 7 volunteers visited Puerto Lara to show the villagers our deliverables, train them on sustainability, and have fun in the process.
